2) Next Monday is ECLIPSE DAY 2017. For our field trip to the farm, students need bring no possessiions. Lunch is provided. Eclipse glasses are provided. Please listen and follow all safety warnings and instructions. We want this to be a day to remember for the right reasons.
3) If not finished in class Friday, complete drafting "My Favorite Place" essay, 300-400 words. You will have Tuesday as an in-class work day for revision, peer-editing, and publication. Final draft of the essay is DUE at end of class on Tuesday, August 22. Six-senses chart/prewrite should be submitted with essay. The key points of assessment will be on the traits of IDEAS, ORGANIZATION, and CONVENTIONS and formatting (following instructions).
